Terms & Conditions for Membership

Welcome to BARZELL, where excellence in fitness meets a community built on respect, integrity, and professionalism. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully to ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment for all members. Your adherence to these guidelines is appreciated and essential for maintaining the standards of our premium facility.

1. Dress Code & Etiquette

  • Proper Workout Attire: Members are encouraged to wear appropriate gym wear during workouts, including proper athletic shoes. Barefoot workouts are not permitted to ensure safety and hygiene.
  • Respectful Behavior: Members are expected to exhibit good behavior, kindness, and respect towards staff and fellow members at all times. Disruptive or disrespectful conduct may result in disciplinary action, including termination of membership without refund.

2. Hygiene & Facility Use

  • Shoe Policy: To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, no outdoor shoes are allowed inside the gym. Members must leave their outdoor footwear on the shoe rack located near the parking lot and change into designated gym shoes before entering the workout areas.
  • Towel Policy: Use of towels is mandatory when using benches, machines, or any equipment prone to sweating. Members must purchase fresh towels at the counter if they do not bring their own.
  • Locker Usage: Lockers are provided for members’ use during their workout sessions. Members are requested to remove their belongings at the end of each session. Permanent retention of possessions in lockers is discouraged; members are responsible for their belongings.
  • Respect for Equipment: We ask members to respect our equipment and amenities. Do not leave weights lying on the floor; return all weights and equipment to their designated places after use. Misuse or intentional damage to equipment will result in penalties and potential fines based on the cost of repair or replacement.

3. Conduct & Behavior

  • Respect & Peace: Members should maintain a peaceful environment. Loud conversations, playing music without headphones, or any disruptive behavior is strictly discouraged and may lead to warnings or termination.
  • Privacy & Respect: Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Any form of harassment, abuse, or misconduct will not be tolerated.
  • No Altercation Policy: Fights or disputes should be avoided. Members involved in any misconduct will be warned, and if behavior persists, the membership will be terminated without refund.

4. Substances & Prohibited Items

  • Prohibited Substances: Use or possession of performance-enhancing drugs, banned substances or any substances that pose health risks is strictly prohibited. Violation will lead to immediate termination of membership with no refund.
  • Smoking & Drinking: Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly forbidden within the entire premises—including the parking area. Violations will result in warnings and potential termination.

5. Safety & Security

  • CCTV & Monitoring: The facility is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance for your safety.
  • Loss of Property: The management is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Members are encouraged to use lockers and take care of their items. A Lost & Found department is available to assist in recovering misplaced items.
  • Breakage & Damage: Intentionally damaging equipment or amenities will incur a penalty equal to the cost of repairs or replacement, and could lead to termination of membership.

6. Use of Amenities & Membership Policies

  • Respect & Proper Use: Amenities such as water dispensers, the mini coffee bar, and other facilities are for everyone’s benefit. Misuse or abuse of these amenities is prohibited.
  • Membership & Refunds: Once purchased, memberships and PT packages are non-refundable. Cancellations will not entitle members to any refund, although services may be terminated upon expiry.
  • App & Personal Plans: Members can access the BARZELL app, which offers workout tracking and updates. Personalized workout and diet plans through the app are available only to members with an active PT training package.

7. Additional Policies

  • Respect for Racking & Weight Placement: We kindly request members to follow the “re-racking” policy, returning weights and equipment to their designated areas after use.
  • Noise Levels: Playing loud music or disruptive noises are not permitted and will be addressed sternly. Use headphones and keep noise levels considerate to others.
  • Staff & Member Respect: All members and staff should be treated with courtesy and respect. Aggressive or abusive behavior towards staff or other members may lead to immediate termination of membership without refund.

8. Hygiene & Equipment Use

Towel Requirement: Use of towels is mandatory when using benches, machines, or any equipment prone to sweating. Members must purchase fresh towels at the reception if they do not carry their own.
